R-CCC launches “Show Your Love for R-CCC Giving Day” to Support Student Scholarships
AHOSKIE, NC –Roanoke-Chowan Community College (R-CCC) is excited to announce the launch of "Show Your Love for R-CCC Giving Day" on Tuesday, February 11, 2025—a dedicated day of generosity aimed at transforming the lives of students through scholarship support.
In honor of R-CCC’s founding year, 1967, the College is encouraging donations of $19.67 or more to help break down financial barriers and provide students with life-changing opportunities. Every gift made on this special day will contribute to strengthening the Roanoke-Chowan community and empowering students to achieve their educational goals.
“At R-CCC, we are committed to fostering student success and expanding access to education,” said Dr. Murray J. Williams, R-CCC President. “By coming together on Giving Day, we can make a lasting impact on students’ lives, ensuring they have the support they need to reach their full potential.”
The R-CCC Giving Day campaign invites alumni, faculty, staff, local businesses, and the broader community to show their support. Donations will go directly toward scholarships that help students afford tuition, books, and other essential educational resources.
“Education has the power to change lives, and every dollar given on this day will help unlock opportunities for our students,” said Steven Mathews, Vice President of Workforce & Institutional Advancement. “This is a chance for our community to unite and invest in the future of R-CCC and the success of its students.”
