Timothy Stallings Jr. Named Director of Advising at R-CCC
AHOSKIE, NC –Roanoke-Chowan Community College (R-CCC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Timothy Stallings Jr. as the new Director of Advising. Stallings brings more than 14 years of leadership and management experience in student engagement, counseling and community outreach to his new role. He officially began his position on Dec. 2, 2024.
Prior to joining R-CCC, Stallings served as the Dean of Students and PBIS Coordinator at Bertie County High School, where he was instrumental in developing student programs, fostering leadership opportunities, and creating a positive and inclusive school environment. His background also includes roles as an Exceptional Children’s Teacher and Behavioral Support Specialist, where he provided both academic and emotional support to students with diverse needs.
Stallings holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Elizabeth City State University and a Funeral Director Certification from Fayetteville Technical Community College. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership at Regent University.
Stallings was drawn to R-CCC because of its strong commitment to student success and community engagement. “I wanted to be part of an institution where I could help shape student experiences, foster leadership opportunities and contribute to a supportive learning environment,” he said.
In his new role, Stallings aims to develop impactful programs that support student growth, leadership and career development. He is dedicated to building strong relationships with students, faculty and community partners to ensure that every student feels valued and equipped for success.
