R-CCC Partners with Educational Vitality Center to Offer Free GED and ESL Classes
LEWISTON-WOODVILLE, NC –Roanoke-Chowan Community College (R-CCC) is proud to announce the renewal of our Memorandum of Agreement with the Lewiston-Woodville Educational Vitality Center, strengthening our shared mission to provide accessible, high-quality education to the community.
The partnership ensures that residents can take advantage of free educational programs aimed at building essential skills and opening doors to new opportunities. Available classes include Adult Basic Education, GED Preparation and English as a Second Language (ESL).

By offering these essential programs, we are helping individuals gain the skills they need for long-term success," said Steven Mathews, Vice President of Workforce & Institutional Advancement at Roanoke-Chowan Community College.
These classes are designed to support individuals in achieving their academic and professional goals, whether it's earning a GED, improving English proficiency, or enhancing foundational skills for future success.
