Roanoke-Chowan Community College offers motorcycle safety course
(AHOSKIE) Roanoke-Chowan Community College offers a motorcycle safety class designed to teach bikers the basics of riding a bike how to operate motorcycles in traffic.
Rider coaches are trained by the North Carolina motorcycle safety education program and are certified through the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). The course is offered twice a semester at the community college.
The next Basic Rider course is November 5-7. The course is offered on weekends. Friday is the classroom portion and on Saturday and Sunday students travel to the Tri-County Airport for the skills portion of the class.
